Call to Worship (Psalm 145:10-18 & Ephesians 3:14-21)

Leader: All your works shall give thanks to you, O LORD, and all your faithful shall bless you.  They shall speak of the glory of your realm, and tell of your power, to make known to all people your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your realm.

People: For this reason I bow my knees before the Father and Mother, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name.

Leader: Your kingdom O God is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. The LORD is faithful in every word, and gracious in every deed.  God upholds all who are falling, and raises up all who are bowed down.

People: I pray that, according to the riches of God’s glory, God may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through the Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.

Leader: The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in due season.  You open your hand, satisfying the desire of every living thing.

People: I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Leader: You are just in all your ways, and kind in all your deeds.  You are near to all who call upon You, to all who call upon You in truth.

People: Now to the one who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to God be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Welcome & prayer

PART 2: BREAK INTO SMALL GROUPS
(in-person & zoom)

Responsive Reading (from Psalm 24)

Leader: The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it;

People: for God has founded it on the seas, and established it on the rivers.

Leader: Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord?  And who shall stand in YHWH’s holy place?

People: Those who have clean hands and pure hearts, who do not lift up their souls to what is false, and do not swear deceitfully.

Leader: They will receive blessing from the Lord, and vindication from the God of their salvation.

People: Such is the company of those who seek YHWH, who seek the face of the God of Jacob.

Leader: Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors! That the King of glory may come in.

People: Who is the King of glory?

Leader: The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle.

People: Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in.

Leader: Who is this King of glory?

ALL: The Lord of hosts, YHWH is the King of glory.
