Join us in our peace garden (just west of the church) for a short prayer service as part of the International Day of Prayer for Peace.
This is a weekly 20-week community Bible study lead by Pastor Michael Crosby, of First Mennonite Church, and Rev. Terrance Thomas of Bethel AME Church. FMC is part of a Dismantling the Doctrine of Discovery Coalition of congregations that supports church communities in education, solidarity and reparative action alongside Indigenous Peoples. THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD AT: Ujima Retreat in Urbana, IL. FMC’s Green Team is a voluntary working group within the congregation and helps guide the the church’s efforts toward environmental stewardship and environmental justice. All are welcome to attend!
