Alice Di Micele Benefit Concert at FMC

November 2, 2024 @ 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Alice Di Micele is a folk musician and environmental singer and songwriter from Ashland, Oregon. Her voice is rich and soulful, with a five-octave range. Local musician Kevin Elliott will open the concert. We are fortunate to host Alice’s first concert in Illinois.  Invite your family, friends and neighbors to this family-friendly event!

Parking is available in the lot on the north side of the church. Overflow parking is available in the University of Illinois lot at the corner of Springfield and Gregory, one block west of the church.

Tickets are $20/adult and $10/child. Purchase tickets or make donations to the “Dome House Project” at: https://tinyurl.com/ADiMiceleNov2Concert.

The concert benefits Red Cloud Renewable’s Lakota Thiyuha “Dome House” project, which is building affordable housing on Pine Ridge Reservation, located in South Dakota. Pine Ridge has had a severe housing crisis for many years. The current situation is dire, with overcrowding and substandard living conditions being the norm. The “Dome House” project is changing that by creating innovative housing that is affordable, sustainable and easy to heat. Direct donations to “Dome House” project can be given through the concert ticket link.
