This annual event benefits Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). The event begins on Friday, August 22, from 4:30-9 pm and continues on Saturday - August 23 from 6 am - 3 pm. 4-6 people meet the several Tuesdays each month for prayer, sharing, Lectio Divina and a short silence. Meeting times and days are decided by the group. New groups are formed each September. In person & on Zoom.

Our 2025 retreat theme is "Rooted in Peace" and will be held in Tiskilwa, IL, August 29 (7 pm) - August 31 (1 pm). Contact the church office for details. No worship service will be held at the church building on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
FMC is part of a Dismantling the Doctrine of Discovery Coalition of congregations that supports church communities in education, solidarity and reparative action alongside Indigenous Peoples. The Coalition meets via Zoom each month for worship which focuses on the theme of healing and economic justice. A link is needed to attend.
There will be no worship service or Sunday morning activities at the church on August 31, 2025, due to our All-Church retreat on August 29-31 at Camp Menno Haven (Tiskilwa, IL).
This group provides a space for anti-racism education, advocacy, and mutual accountability in our church and community. The group meeting is hybrid, with in person members meeting in the FMC library.
FMC library is reserved for the "Courage School" online training. Our team is organized by D. Evans.
