Prelude

Call to worship

Gather close, dear friends.

Let us hear what our God the LORD shall say today,

Let us come in silent anticipation
straining for the whisper of peace.

Let us come in the midst of crisis
wrestling for a voice of reason.
Let us come loudly declaring our hope
shouting for a movement of justice.

Let us come with praise on our lips
singing with the God of joy.

Gather close, dear friends.

Let us hear what our God the LORD shall call to us this day,

Show us your endless love, O God.

Unleash the floodwaters of grace.

Speak peace to your people, to your faithful ones.

Perhaps this is the day
when steadfast love and truth shall meet,
when justice and peace shall kiss,
when the land shall be dotted with the fruit of God’s abundance,
when the roads shall be paved with the righteousness of God’s holy calling.

Gather close, dear friends.

Let us hear what our God the LORD shall call us to this day.
