DESCRIPTION:Chief Red Cloud and his wife Gloria Red Cloud reside on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.  Chief Red Cloud will speak about Pine Ridge and his work to bring solar power and sustainable housing to the reservation. The Lakota Thiyuha dome house project they have launched (see description below) is being featured in PBS’s Native America series. The play was performed at the Urbana Station Theatre in December 2022. \nDr. Anderson Cobb brings a wealth of experience from her teaching\, writing\, and advocacy work\, including hate crimes education and gun violence prevention.
